The clicker looks really good with the little bevel edgge and the the metallic orange and the etched owl logo I like the fact that it is a simple pen without ornament and a monolithic kinda bauhaus design I still use the pen daily, I just wish it kept it's sleek look longer. If that doesn't matter, then you'll be ok. The weight of the pen is mostly back heavy, and the smoothness of course depends on your Parker G2 refill quality. You better hope that it doesn't hit something hard or else you'll see the first scratch on the coating. The early days with the pen are very slippery and you will drop the pen. The coating feels like one of those black Mirado or TIcondoroga pencils and gives the pen some grip after the first week or so. The writing experience is pretty good though. Although, I can admit that these are harsh conditions for a pen, this pen is advertised as if the coating is very durable. Along the barrel of the pen, there are spots where the coating was rubbed off by either my pants, my other pen, or my keys. I have kept this pen in pocket nearly every day since I've owned it, and next to another metal pen with no coating on it's metal body. ![]() ![]() I purchased this pen in April 2021, and now in September 2021, the coating is starting to look bad. The main issue with this pen is that the coating does not hold up over time. I thought this would be a great way to help make it obvious that this was my red ink pen because of the metallic orange cap.Īnd for that purpose it works, and works well. ![]() I bought this pen so that I could use it to help differentiate between my typical writing pen, and my editing pen (red ink).
